This item contains everything you need to make 3 inch buttons in our Tecre model 300, or other US manufactured button makers. The shells and pinned backs are made from heavy duty recycled US steel. The mylar is 3.451 inches in diameter, 3 mil thick plastic that protects your graphics and gives the buttons a professional glossy finish.

A: A package count of 100 gives you enough material to make 100 buttons. 100 shells, 100 pinned backs, and 100 mylar.

Q: Hi! I'm looking to buy more pieces for my button maker and I was just wondering what pinned/unpinned means? Would this item come with the front piece, back piece, and clear film to put over it? I'm new to this :)

A: Normally when you order button supplies, the backs are already pinned. That is the pins come inserted into the backs already. You get shells, mylar, and pinned backs. However, at the moment there is an 8 week lead time for pinning. So we have included the option to get your backs unpinned. In this case you get shells, mylar, unpinned backs, and pins. You have to assemble the backs, put the pins into the backs, before pressing your button.

Q: What do you mean by unpinned VS pinned … do you mean flat backs with no pins? Can the pins be added after construction?

A: Unpinned backs are the same as pinned backs except that the pins come in a seperate bag and you have to insert the pins into the backs yourself before pressing your buttons.

A: Yes you can. 3 inch Shells Only are located in the Bits N Pieces Section.

Q: hello, i am in need of at least several hundred supplies for 3" pin-back buttons. i see the note about backorders-- is it possible to speak with someone about shipping options or the possibility of getting these supplies by early november? in the event that your company is unable to provide supplies, is there another product that you recommend? we have a multimaker machine (red handle). i work for rain city rock camp, a nonprofit who has been a loyal buttonmakers customer for many years-- we would love to support your business in any way that we can!

Q: I have a 3" VEVOR button machine, will these supplies work with that button maker?

A: No. Vevor is a metric machine. It uses 75mm size supplies. Check the Metric section to find 75mm. US manufactured 3 inch supplies will not work for you.

A: There is currently a long lead time for pinning. You can opt to receive your order unpinned, to receive it right away. You would then have to assemble thi pinned backs yourself.
