MultiCutter provides a lower-cost method to cut circular button graphics with speed and accuracy. It includes an interchangeable plastic centering templates, pre-cut for 1" button graphics (1.313") and can be cut to match larger sizes. A cutting plate is also included and protects surfaces as the rotary cutter "crush cuts" the graphic. Depending on thickness, multiple graphics may be cut at one time with the MultiCutter.
Q:
Do you have parts for purchase for your rotary button cutter? The handle part of mine keeps getting stuck when I'm trying to use it and I can't figure out what to do to fix it. Thanks, Sara.

We only carry extra blades for the MultiCutter. Can you email a video of this problem to

. I have never heard of the multicutter getting stuck before. I would need to see it in action to help. But just as general advice, you could try hitting it with some machine lubricant or WD-40. We typically recommend using Food Grade Silicone based Machine Lubricant on our button making equipment becuase it leaves a less greasy film and is less likely to ruin your button prints. But really any machine oil will work. Anywhere that metal touches metal, you have to keep it lubed.

Q:
Does one buy the multi cutter in addition to the 1" ProMaker button machine? does the cutter fit onto the ProMaker 1" machine? but then you can cut buttons to any size between 1" and 3" ? thanks for clarifying how the cutter works with the other machine! all the best, Kathy

A:
If you would like to purchase a MultiCutter and a ProMaker, you can totally do that. The MultiCutter can be setup to work with 1", 1.5", 2.25", and 3 inch button sizes for both the ProMaker and MultiMaker button machines. If you are going to use it for several sizes, you just need to get some extra cutting templates - one for each size you intend to cut.
Most people prefer the ProMaker Punch, because it's so much faster and doesn't require new blades or templates, etc. But if you are doing several sizes and are budget conscious, the MultiCutter is a fine way to go. Thanks for the question!!
