Q: Can this machine make 2x3 photo buttons?

A: This machine can accommodate paper up to 32lbs or so. Depending on the printer you have you can print photos on thinner paper. Printing photos on 32lb or less paper, your button making life will be easier. There is not a good reason to use super thick photo paper for buttons and magnets if you can avoid it. If you are looking to make magnets from a high speed event printer on-site or using prints from a photo lab, you need a Photo button maker, not this model.

Q: In the questions last year, it was asked if we could have magnets instead of pinback. Could we do this now?

A: Yes. Just add the machine, punch, and magnet sets to your cart as seperate items. There may be a 1-2 week lead time for magnets at the time of this writing.

Q: I would like to know if I could ask for the magnet backs instead of the pin backs. I only ask because I would like to make refrigerator magnets not buttons with pins on them. Warmest regards, Mary Ann Leggon

A: Under normal circumstances., yes. You can add a 2x3 inch machine by itself to your cart and then add magnet supplies as well. At the moment we are experiencing a national shortage on the magnet material so it might be some time before those are available again.

Q: A follow-up to your answer above. Does this mean I cannot use the button design software to make straight up 2x3 rectangles? Meaning, I would have to use one of the templates under 'design templates'? I'm not sure what it means that this kit comes with an octogonal press as it relates to using the design software. Can you clarify? Thank you!

Q: I'm looking to make 2x3" magnets. This looks like the right kit but I am not clear on does the die cut actually cut a perfect 2x3" or is there a variation? I am trying to synch up with what I actually print on paper if that makes sense. Also, for magnets, it looks like I would have to buy them separately from what is in the kit. Is that correct? Thanks!

A: Hi There. This kit includes a 2x3 inch ProMaker, Punch, and 500 Button Supplies. Magnet sets are sold seperately and can be found in the Magnets and More section of the site. I would recommed checking out our free design app, or the Photoshop or Illustrator templates for help laying out your graphics. This machine actually requires an octagonal graphic. Just click on the Design Templates tab on the product description.
