Q: Would this machine be good to make sports photo buttons?

A: As long as you plan on printing your photos on an inkjet or laser printer, this is an excellent machine for photo buttons! If you plan on using an event printer for on-site buttons, however, you would need to look into the 3.5 inch PHOTO button maker instead.

Q: Can you interchange smaller die sets with this button maker? If I want to also make 2" buttons, can I use this machine with a 2" die set?

A: No. ProMakers are made for only one size. You cannot remove the dies. Not being able to remove the dies makes for a more reliable and high quality machine, however.

Q: Will this work for photo buttons on professional photo paper?

A: The determinate factor for whether this will work with your paper is the thickness. There is a specific machine made for use with "Photo" paper sold elsewhere on the site (I can't post links in this form, but it's the next product after this one) The "Photo" machine can use very thick paper stock like from an event printer or a photo lab, but this machine cannot. However, you can get very nice quality photo paper that is also relatively thin. You may not actually need a *photo* machine unless you are doing on-site photo buttons with an event printer or something very specific.
