Q: I have ordered a few different pin supply packs for my button maker but they are all too big. My machine is made in the USA and says model 225 on it. Are your pin tops designed for this machine? When I measure one of the original pin tops that came with the machine it’s 1/8 inch smaller than what these other refill packs sent me.

A: Yes. If your machine was manufactured in the US, then these 2-1/4 inch button supplies will fit your machine. If you buy metric size 58mm supplies, they're 2mm too big. Most parts on Amazon, for example are metric and will not work in US made machines. These supplies are US made for US equipment.

Q: Hi, My button machine is made by Button Biz (out of business, I guess). I measured the button and it is 2 14" in diameter, when completed. Can I return items if they do not work with this machine? Would it be possible to get one sample to confirm it is the correct size?

A: Button Biz was a Tecre distributor also. Our 2-1/4 inch supplies are the exact same ones they sold. Yes, you can return your order but you will still be responsible for outbound and return shipping. Outbound shipping can be more than 50 % of the purchase price. If you are concerned about that, please order samples first. You can click the Samples link in the navigation bar to place an order for free samples. But again, Button Biz sold the same supplies and machines that we do.

Q: 1) will these work with my Badge a matic machine? 2)Are your button parts made by US union workers?

A: These will not work in a badge a minit machine. You will need to use BAM supplies located in the Metric section for that machine. The workers at Brick City ButtonMakers and Brick City Printing are union, but we buy button supplies from Tecre Co. So they are not made by union workers. But we can make you union printed buttons if you like.

Q: I believe this is the size we have. It appears we ordered it from here some years back. Would be under Lyster Army Health Clinic Fort Rucker Al 36362 the name may have been Donna Upshaw-Combs or Amanda Goodson, perhaps. Looks like this kit would make 500 complete pinback buttons could you verify this information?

Q: how many buttons can I make from one set of 2.25 kits"? I have a very nice cutter and press, just need the parts. I used to order from a family but have lost their name and address, (alas!)

A: You can select the quantity you need from the drop down menu. Each set includes shells, pinned back, and mylar. So 100 gets you 100 of each component. Enough stuff to make 100 buttons.

A: Pinned sets come with the pin already inserted into the backs. Unpinned sets come with the backs and pins as seperate items.

Q: Are your pin backs in stock? I usually order from Americanbuttonmachine but they are having supply chain issues and my machines are their machines - size 2.25.

A: Unfortunately we are in the same boat as everyone else right now. We have the same supplier as American Button Machines, so yes they are compatible, but at the time of this writing we are only shipping 100 quantities out right away. Any larger quantities are either going on back order to wait to be pinned or are shipping out un-pinned. Let me know if you have additional questions.
